Hi, I’m Bridget

I’m a pediatric nurse by day and a self-taught renovator by passion. Bridge at Home began as a personal project — a way to document the transformation of my house, one space at a time. What started as a fixer-upper quickly became a labor of love I shared with my dad.

Together, we tackled everything from attic framing to kitchen demo. After losing him to brain cancer, I made it my mission to continue the work we started — finishing this home with my own two hands, while honoring his memory in every detail.

I grew up with a deep respect for hands-on work, creative problem-solving, and the kind of spaces that feel lived-in and loved. Outside of home projects, I’ve spent over a decade working as a pediatric nurse — a role that’s taught me resilience, resourcefulness, and the value of showing up for people, whether in a hospital room or on a construction site.

When I’m not at work or covered in sawdust, you’ll find me thrifting secondhand treasures, tending to my garden (even though I used to hate it), or working on ways to make my home just a little bit healthier and more sustai

Relatable Stories

I believe home projects don’t need to be perfect or Pinterest-polished to be meaningful. Whether I’m refinishing stairs, building garden boxes, or repurposing resale shop finds, I share the real process — the wins, the lessons, and the in-between.

If it looks like you could do it too, that’s the point.
